Our strength emanates from our diversity, faith in our systems, and passion for fixing those systems when they break down.

We believe that while we all have policies we want adopted at this school (such as improved financial aid, sustainability measures, and better residential living quality), ultimately, we have to reform the institutions to be more representative for those policies to be enacted effectively.

If AU’s Sudent Government cannot be responsive to student needs, or if it passes policies that aren’t respected by the administration, then students lose faith that AUSG can advocate for them and a breakdown of campus democracy takes place. Restoring faith in our campus democracy is the focal-point of our platform.
